Empathy and compassion are two soft skills most geriatric nurses can’t emphasize adequate. They’re crucial elements when working with elderly individuals and important to their well being and happiness. Certification is just not required to do the job for a geriatric nurse, but it would give you a benefit above other candidates in your subje
